Fellowship

Purpose:  The Fellowship Committee assists the Rector and Vestry in encouraging, coordinating , sponsoring and preparing the Christ Church Parish fellowship and welcoming program. 

Duties include: Identifying and welcoming both families and individuals new to the area and new to the church, encouraging participation in after-service coffee hour gatherings, and the planning and execution of dinners, ice cream socials, unique social events open to parishioners and guests as well as social events designed to encourage community-wide participation to visit the church, share in our love of community and to be in fellowship with our neighbors.  The mantra of the Fellowship Committee is " We play where we pray." This jovial and warm message has stimulated an inclusive message to our outreach into the community.
