June 24-26 building robot cars, learning how robots do what they do, and how to program them to do what you want them to do! Participants will also learn why robotics is becoming increasingly important to our everyday lives.
Who: Ages 12-15
Where: Christ Church Parish Fellowship Hall, 56 Christchurch Lane, Christchurch, VA
Cost: FREE. You only have to provide transportation.
Basic schedule: June 24 (robot build day) 9 am-3 pm. June 25 and 26, 9 am-noon (programming/coding exercises).
This experience is organized by the Christ Church Parish’s Tech Team and Outreach Ministry in collaboration with the Middlesex Public Library. Instruction is led by qualified volunteers with relevant technical skills and teaching experience.
